Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Charlotte, NC is seeking a delivery driver; deliver products, including hazardous materials, from our stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will ensure complete, safe deliveries to customers and uphold customer satisfaction, working at Store #3634, 9115 Old Statesville Road.

Responsibilities include loading orders, following routes, maintaining vehicles, and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License with a hazardous materials endorsement.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or be willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and handle loads frequently up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and on time to customers.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs to supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules and observe traffic laws.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Perform store duties including tinting, mixing orders, and assisting customers.
