Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years driving experience or completion of truck driver training similar to Linde's.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or moving violations in past 2 years.
• Current DOT medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• 2+ years' experience in plant/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load cylinders and deliver to customer use points.
• Drive approximately 30% of the day; handle cylinder shipping orders and paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered/returned.
• Complete Hazardous Material shipping papers per DOT/TC regulations.
• Placard vehicle according to hazardous material regulations and Linde standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify repairs if needed.
• Operate a forklift and other plant vehicles; maintain scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and document quantities for stock.
