Job summary

Waste Pro of Florida in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking CDL Grapple Truck Drivers to join our team on established routes.

If you have experience operating grapple trucks, boom trucks, or other heavy equipment, we want to talk with you. This is a hands-on driving role focused on safe collection and transport of bulky waste and debris.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or B CDL in the state of employment.
Clean driving record with at least one year of CDL driving experience in the past seven years.
Waste industry experience preferred but not required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely drives truck on pre-established route and collects/dumps garbage according to route.
Provides courteous and expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
Ensures proper pickup and disposal, tagging improper waste containers when needed.
Performs daily pre/post trip inspections and DVIR per safety guidelines.
Keeps truck clean, inspects under hood, checks fluids and tires.
Performs cleanup of scattered refuse and operates truck hydraulics.
Prepares and submits required reports and documents.
Responsible for all persons working on the vehicle during the route.
