Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is hiring a CDL Grapple Driver to operate a Grapple Truck on assigned routes, serving residential and commercial customers with a safety-first approach.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, report issues, and maintain professional equipment while delivering excellent service across our Florida routes. This role requires a valid CDL and a strong commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Grapple Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
