Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation seeks a CDL-equipped driver to manage fuel transportation and related tasks. You will load/unload, service customers, read meters, process payments, and maintain fleet safety through daily inspections. Requires CDL with Tanker/HazMat/Air Brakes endorsements or ability to obtain, plus FMCSA qualifications.

This on-site role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable operations across routes, with opportunities to contribute to maintenance and spill response readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
• 2 years’ experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.
• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements or be able to obtain them.
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualifications and possess a current Medical Certificate.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Drive a designated route to load and unload freight safely and timely.
• Deliver and receive fuel and/or propane to/from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
• Assist with fuel attendant duties and other customer service activities.
• Perform gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts/repairs; assist with weekly facility inspections and maintenance.
• Act as a first responder to spill incidents and perform other duties as assigned.
