Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels in Carlsbad is seeking a Fuel Delivery Driver. You will load and deliver refined fuels and propane, operate a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, and assist with flatbed hauling. DOT inspections and safety compliance are essential.

Class A/B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements and a clean driving record are required, with opportunities for certification and growth within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required.
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and keep accurate logs.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers carrying propane/fuels is preferred.
• Must obtain NM LP-3 propane certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload products.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, routes, and product movements.
• Gauges tank volumes and verifies product quality during transport.
• Assist with loading equipment on flatbed trailers as needed.
