Job summary

Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor seeking a driver to join our team. You will safely operate a fuel delivery truck, plan routes, load/unload fuel, and maintain records while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, 5+ years of driving, 3+ years tanker experience, clean background, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Local and regional travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years verifiable driving experience.
• Minimum 3 years tanker experience.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean background with no felonies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and schedules.
• Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including quantities and locations.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery stops.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and hazardous materials handling.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly and coordinate timely repairs.
• Keep delivery truck clean and stocked with supplies and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
• Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Minimum 3 years tanker experience.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Clean background with no felonies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates).

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Class A or B CDL w/ hazmat & tanker endorsements (Required)

Relocation

Work Schedule/Benefits
