Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a professional truck driver to deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers. Local routes and home daily, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses based on safety and performance.

Requirements include a valid CDL (Class A or B), hazmat and tanker endorsements, TWIC or ability to obtain, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. Weekend availability and strong safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL and acceptable driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• TWIC credential REQUIRED or obtainable within 30 days after hire.
• DOT/FMCSA qualification standards incl. Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Weekend/extended hours availability.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads trucks with petroleum products per regulations.
• Safely operates trucks per policies and laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety inspections.
• Checks oil, water, fuel, tires and tank items daily.
• Completes/transmits paperwork per procedures.
• Coordinates with dispatchers daily.
