Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL for the state of operation.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must understand Department of Transportation requirements for CMVs.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-load refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic cleaning of the truck.
• Record mileage, fuel use and route information on required forms.
• Notify supervision of any customer issues or safety concerns.
• Load, unload and transport waste to designated disposal sites as required.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and follow safety procedures at all times.
