Job summary

Amwaste Of Georgia seeks a CDL Commercial FEL Driver / Residential Driver to safely operate waste collection trucks on a designated route and provide courteous service to customers. You will engage with residents and help keep the community clean and healthy.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL.
• Experience in auto loading garbage trucks is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the truck along the designated route to service customers.
• Courteously interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and respond to spills per safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean waste during disposal trips.
• Complete route productivity sheets and required reports.
• Follow safety policies and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
