Job summary

GFL Industries in Kinston, NC is seeking a CDL Front-End Driver for a local, full-time route. You will operate front-load trucks to service commercial and multi-family properties, using GPS to navigate tight spaces, and you will sleep in your own bed each night.

The role emphasizes safety, pre-/post-trip inspections, and customer service as you represent GFL and maintain accurate logs while following lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR diploma/certificate from a CDL program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Master the Route: Drive commercial front-load vehicles along assigned routes to service businesses and commercial properties.
• Operate with Precision: Use hydraulics and controls to lift and dump commercial dumpsters smoothly and safely.

What We're Looking For

• Credentials: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Maneuvering Skills: Ability to safely operate and back up heavy equipment in busy commercial areas.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, open corral gates, and perform physical pre/post-trip inspections.
• Great Attitude: A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
