GFL Environmental Inc. in Wytheville, VA seeks a reliable Front End Driver to join our local routes. You will operate front-load trucks on commercial and multi-family routes, delivering safe, efficient waste collection services for daily home-time and consistent overtime opportunities.

Qualified candidates hold a CDL or have 1 year of truck driving experience, and must pass safety checks. You will handle pre/post-trip inspections, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and work outdoors in various weather

Competenze

Valid CDL required.
1 year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
Ability to demonstrate safe truck operation and equipment handling.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 300 lbs on castors.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Mansioni

Operate front-load trucks along designated commercial and multi-family routes to collect solid waste or recyclables.
Transport collected waste safely to transfer stations, landfills, or drop-off locations.
Open container enclosures/gates and roll 3–4 yard containers into position for dumping.
