Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation in Littleton, MA, is seeking a CDL Concrete Mixer Driver to responsibly deliver ready-mix concrete to customer sites, upholding safety and quality standards.

You will operate a front-discharge mixer, perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent service to customers. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of front discharge ready mix driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company driving standards.
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment and DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial vehicle operation.
• Familiarity with the local delivery area and ability to safely navigate various job site conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready mix concrete to customer job sites according to dispatch schedules and delivery tickets while maintaining product quality.
• Safely operate a front discharge ready mix truck in accordance with all company policies, DOT regulations, and state and local traffic laws.
• Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections, accurately completing all required Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and reporting maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with customers, dispatch, and plant personnel.
• Keep the mixer truck, hopper, chute system, and drum clean throughout the workday and complete all required washout procedures at the end of each shift.
