Job summary

UPS in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a Fleet Technician to maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles and tractors. The role requires DOT and CDL qualifications, with 2nd shift Monday–Friday plus some weekends.

You will troubleshoot and service hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical and engine control systems. You must bring current automotive mechanical experience, have diagnostic tools and a full set of personal hand tools, and be willing to work in varying temperatures and

Qualifications

Must have current automotive mechanical experience.
Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
CDL with Class B, Air Brakes, Manual Transmission or CDL Class A.

Responsibilities

Meets D.O.T requirements and CDL qualifications required by job assignment.
Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
Operates standard and manual transmission and power tools.
Meets all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified.
