Job summary

Gerhart is seeking a CDL Field Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain heavy-capacity weighing equipment in field environments across diverse job sites. You will operate our Test Truck/Rig, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, and guide peers on-site while delivering high-impact results.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, a self-driven attitude, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required or preferred; current CDL holders compensated
• Overtime flexibility is expected
• Mechanical or electrical background required
• Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
• Strength and stamina to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely

Responsibilities

• Operate Test Truck/Rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

• CDL Class B (preferred; we’ll compensate current CDL holders)
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
  
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
