City of Rolla, Environmental Services Department, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join the full-time team. The role involves driving a designated collection route, loading waste containers, emptying them into the truck, and returning containers to the proper area.

Starting pay ranges from $35,372 to $48,964 annually, depending on qualifications. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred one year of truck driving experience and basic knowledge of waste collection

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• One year truck driving experience is preferred.
• Some knowledge of equipment, methods and procedures used in solid waste and collection activities.

Responsabilités

• Drive a collection vehicle on a designated route and collect waste.
• Empty containers into the collection vehicle and return them to the prescribed area.
• Perform duties related to Recycling and/or Sanitation divisions as assigned.
