Clean Harbors in Henderson, CO is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator / Truck Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on and off sites for hazardous waste cleanup.

Starting pay is $27–$30 per hour with a $7,000 sign-on bonus for fully licensed new hires. Two-week Academy training out of state is required; expenses covered and training paid.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL unrestricted.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements; background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Properly placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with DOT and environmental guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as assigned.
