Lazer Tow is seeking motivated Tow Truck Operators to join a fast-paced, growing team in the Kansas City metro area. We welcome both entry level and experienced drivers for full-time night and weekend shifts, with opportunities for long distance hauling and nationwide equipment transport.

Our fleet includes state-of-the-art wreckers and equipment; successful candidates will have CDL, clean driving record, and a strong customer-service mindset to ensure safe, timely deliveries and professional

Qualifications

• CDL driver license required.
• Proven work experience as a truck driver.
• Good driving record.
• Oversize load hauling experience.
• Detach Trailer Experience highly preferred.
• Occasional overnight travel; most trips are day trips.
• Knowledge of trucking rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform daily pre/post-trip inspections.
• Ability to work in extreme weather.
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in tight spaces.
• Sits behind driving wheel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and accessories for safety.
• Load and secure equipment according to safety requirements.
• Communicate with others using two-way radio.
• Follow all company policies and DOT guidelines.
• Report problems to manager promptly.
• Maintain daily mileage logs.
• Perform minor maintenance and report major issues.
• Keep truck clean and orderly.
