Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is hiring Local CDL-A Drivers for Kansas City, MO area. Positions offer home daily schedules, no-touch freight, and multiple shift options with overtime after 40 hours.

Operate Class A vehicles, perform inspections, and maintain logs. CDL-A required, 21+ years old, clean record, and strong communication skills. Local and regional lanes provide year-round, consistent work.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred OR CDL school completion.
• Clean driving record.
• No DUI/OWI in last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Secure freight when needed.
• Report mechanical or safety issues promptly.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules safely.

• C Shift: Sunday–Monday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM / Friday–Saturday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $25.50/hr
