Job summary

Tejas Equipment Rental in San Benito is seeking a CDL Equipment Driver to transport construction equipment across the region. You will load, unload, and secure a variety of equipment, perform safe pre- and post-trip inspections, and represent Tejas with professionalism on every job site.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and home every night. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and represent the Tejas brand with pride.
• Bonus points for load securement knowledge and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment to and from job sites and branches across the region.
• Load, unload, and secure a variety of equipment (mini excavators, skid steers, lifts, and more).
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (safety first).
• Deliver top-tier service with every drop-off and pick-up; be the face of Tejas on the job site.
• Problem-solve on the fly to keep days moving when plans change.
