Job summary

Tejas Equipment Rental is seeking a CDL Equipment Driver at our San Benito, TX branch. You will deliver and haul construction equipment regionally, while representing a family-owned company that has supported Texas building for over 50 years.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with home every night and no overnight routes. Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and an HSA are offered, along with PTO. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and represent Tejas brand on site.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment to and from job sites and branches within the region.
• Load, unload, and secure a variety of equipment (mini excavators, skid steers, lifts, and more).
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues.
• Provide top-tier service with every drop-off and pickup, acting as the face of Tejas on the job site.
• Problem-solve and adapt to changing plans to keep deliveries moving.

What You Bring

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (of course)
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)
• Experience hauling heavy equipment (preferred)
