Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC in Virginia is seeking CDL Drivers including Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. This role requires a Class B CDL with manual transmission and a clean driving record, and pre-employment DOT physical/drug screening.

You will operate on job sites across Virginia, perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and support projects with safe, reliable transportation. Working hours typically start at 6:00 AM with overtime and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

Class B CDL Manual Transmission required.
Clean driving record with no major violations in 7 years.
Must pass pre-employment DOT physical/drug screening.
Willing to perform manual labor on projects.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicle in traffic and at construction sites across Virginia.
Follow DOT rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain inspection reports.
Maintain daily mileage logs and work tickets.
Keep assigned vehicle(s) clean and well maintained.
Support company health and safety policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers.
