Job summary

Branscome in Richmond, VA is seeking a Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials to and from job sites and plant locations. This full-time onsite role requires a valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement and a safety‑minded approach to daily operations.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate trucks safely, and follow DOT rules while maintaining logs and communicating with foremen. Overtime is required and a high school diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL, Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving.

Responsibilities

• Drives Dump Trucks for transporting construction materials to and from jobs and plant locations.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Safety maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Pull or push levers to dump materials.
• Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to aid in material placement.
• May perform other related duties, such as lifting and moving transported material.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines.
• Maintain daily log and adhere to DOT standards.
