Job summary

Mountain Home Materials is hiring a Truck Driver (CDL) to operate trucks and transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and equipment to multiple job sites. You will support yard operations, manage stockpiles, and ensure accurate logs and paperwork while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL A or B license required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in dump/tractor/trailer driving preferred; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
• MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
• Strict commitment to safety and compliance with company policies.
• Professional, courteous attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary.
• Prepared to wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks safely to highways, local roads, job sites, and the yard.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DOT documentation.
• Check vehicle functions and manage loads and tarps as needed.
• Load and unload equipment and materials; maintain logs and billing paperwork.
• Maintain daily mileage logs and keep vehicles clean and orderly.
• Follow safety protocols and dispatch instructions; travel as needed.
