Job summary

Mountain Home Materials, a CRH Company, is hiring a Truck Driver to operate various trucks, transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and equipment to multiple job sites, and support yard operations. You will manage stockpiles, assist with material movement, and work within a collaborative team under clear guidance.

The role emphasizes independence with strong safety practices, DOT compliance, and regular schedule demands, including nights and weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL A or B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred (no E Restriction).
• Minimum 2 years’ dump/tractor/trailer driving experience preferred; motivated learners welcome.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.
• MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks safely on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections with DOT-compliant documentation.
• Check vital vehicle functions for optimal operation.
• Keep detailed delivery logs and complete billing paperwork accurately.
• Load and unload materials and maintain logs.
• Monitor gauges and controls throughout vehicle operation.
• Uphold product quality standards and assist with minor maintenance; report major issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and dispatch instructions.
