Job description

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking CDL Drivers Class A and B. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals who want to excel with us.

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
2. Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
3. Contribute as a vital team member towards Austin’s success
4. Attend daily safety meetings
5. Follow safety policies and procedures
6. Work hours may vary to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends
7. Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
8. Perform other duties as assigned
9. Have at least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry
10. Maintain a strong commitment to jobsite safety
11. Possess operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment, including End dump, Belly dump, Tandem, Flow boy, or Super dump experience
12. Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites
13. Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and TXDOT physical
14. Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, as well as state and federal regulations
15. Maintain a current State-issued Class A or B driver’s license
16. Know and adhere to DOT rules and regulations
17. Ensure MVR records meet company and DOT standards
18. Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not provided
