Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking a Cement Mixer Driver. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals to join us.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Contribute as a vital team member towards Austin’s success
• Attend daily safety meetings
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work hours may vary to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends
• Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned
• Have at least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry
• Maintain a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Possess thorough operational knowledge of trucks and related equipment, including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, or super dump experience
• Experience with off-highway driving on construction sites
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and TXDOT physical
• Adhere strictly to safety requirements outlined in the Employee Handbook, as well as state and federal regulations
• Maintain a current State-issued Class A or B driver’s license
• Know and follow DOT rules and regulations
• Ensure MVR records meet company and DOT standards
• Be familiar with securing heavy and oversized loads
