PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy and energy products according to scheduled times to/from company or customer locations, supporting profitable business growth. Assists with maintaining physical inventory and warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operates all assigned vehicles (single, tandem, or multi-axle), forklifts, etc., following safety standards and proper operation techniques.
2. Conducts and records daily safety checks of vehicles and equipment, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes. Follows maintenance schedules and keeps trucks clean for a professional appearance.
3. Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials safely using hand tools or forklifts.
4. Ensures loads are balanced and distributed properly, checks axle weights, and complies with DOT regulations.
5. Completes deliveries and pickups on schedule, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
6. Prepares and submits all required documentation, such as bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, accurately and timely.
7. Maintains accurate logs, cargo records, and other documentation daily.
8. Stocks and moves warehouse products, maintaining the facility and equipment appearance.
9. Follows maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Adheres to GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience operating tractor-trailers or similar equipment, meeting company and DOT standards.
2. Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
3. Must obtain and maintain a CDL with required endorsements, certifications, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
4. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
5. Occasional exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and working at heights.
6. Lifts 51-70 lbs. as required.
7. Willing to participate in training related to company policies and safety procedures.
