Job Title: CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate
Location: Romulus, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour
Hours- 8am- 5pm M-F

About the Company:
Our client is a small, family-owned lumber distributor specializing in B2B sales. With 13 employees and two buildings in Romulus, they pride themselves on a hands-on approach and a close-knit team environment.

Position Overview:
This dual-role position involves both CDL driving and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to manage both delivery routes and general warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Duties (2 Days per Week):
• Operate a CDL vehicle to deliver lumber and materials to clients within Michigan and once a week to Toledo.
• Safely load and unload materials at customer locations.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Serve as the primary driver when the lead driver is on PTO (up to 5 days a week as needed).
• Warehouse Duties (3 Days per Week):
• Operate a Hilo (forklift) to move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform stocking, inventory management, and general warehouse maintenance.
• Assist with order preparation and loading.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
• Experience operating a forklift (Hilo certification preferred).
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
