Job summary

Alside is seeking a CDL-qualified delivery driver to support local residential and commercial deliveries. You will operate trucks and forklifts, assist in warehouse duties, load/unload goods, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations.

A clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen are essential. Experience with building products is helpful; Moffett experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required for this position.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Moffett experience preferred.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations following safety practices and PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure inventory.
• Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience
