Job summary

Alside, a leading exterior building products distributor, is hiring for a CDL-driven warehouse associate in Provo, UT. You will make local deliveries to residential and commercial sites, operate trucks and forklifts, and support daily warehouse tasks with safety as a priority.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, at least 1 year of driving experience, and a clean driving record. Physical work includes lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B required.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years).
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Experience with building products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles and forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations with PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Moffett experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years
