CDL Driver/Warehouse

Job summary

Alside is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to perform local deliveries for residential and commercial job sites. You will safely operate trucks and forklifts, assist in daily warehouse tasks, and ensure accurate inventory and on-time delivery.

Requirements include a CDL Class A or B, 1 year of CDL driving experience, and a clean driving record. Experience with building products and Moffett equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required for this position.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality
