Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an entry-level Groundsperson for Tree Care. You will assist with tree trimming and removal operations, perform ground-level tasks, and help maintain debris disposal. No prior experience is required, and safety procedures are emphasized throughout training.

You will handle basic tools and equipment, adhere to PPE standards, and work as part of a team in outdoor environments. The role supports pruning, removal, and routine maintenance under supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• Must demonstrate basic safety with powered equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to follow procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Clear communication with crew members and the public as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations to support pruning, removal, and maintenance.
• Demonstrate introductory proficiency in safe operation of powered equipment (woodchippers, trucks, blowers).
• Use hand tools effectively and safely to complete assigned tasks.
• Select and use appropriate PPE per safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site; manage traffic and protect the work zone.
