Job summary

Roberts Hawaii Tours & Transportation is seeking a Trainer to deliver safety education and CDL preparation across island locations. The role involves classroom and field instruction, test administration, and reporting on training activities to ensure DOT-compliant standards are met.

The Trainer will lead courses, coordinate with multiple departments, and maintain high safety and service standards while ensuring proper documentation and training records.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years related experience and/or training (as stated in job description).
• Must obtain CDL B with P endorsement and be qualified for S endorsement within 3 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare training materials and classroom setup daily.
• Administer tests and prepare daily training agenda.
• Train drivers in CDL requirements and safety practices.
• Conduct weekly field observations and tailgate meetings.
• Report KPI data and participate in recruitment events.
