Job summary

Northeastern Junior College is seeking a part-time CDL Program Instructor to teach and supervise both classroom and practical sessions for Class A and Class B license training in Colorado. The role involves preparing curriculum, conducting road tests, and ensuring ELDT compliance with FMCSA standards.

Weekend and nontraditional hours may be required. The position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000–$60,000 per year (pro-rated for 0.90 FTE), with medical, dental, life benefits, PERA

Qualifications

• Teaching or training experience in education or industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Consulting, developing and providing custom training for Class A and Class B.
• Ensuring course rigor produces safe and effective drivers that pass licensing examinations.
• Maintaining ELDT compliance with FMCSA standards.
• Supporting marketing efforts and recruitment of students and businesses.
• Conducting road testing at the NJC road testing facilities.
