Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Driver Trainer for the Middleburg Heights, OH location. Qualifications

• Valid CDL license
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years
• MVR and background check including drug screening
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen
• Maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT drug tests

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment
• Convenes all assigned classes at start/end times
• Delivers instruction in trucking/driving
• Administers written tests and evaluates grades
• Conducts pre-trip inspections of CMVs
• Instructs air-brake tests, straight-line backing, offset backing
• Instructs 45-degree alley-docking and parallell parking
• Draws on experience to relate material; uses assessments to gauge progress
