Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class level must meet the position
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years
• MVR and background check including drug screen
• Ability to pass road test and DOT physical/drug screen on hire and ongoing
• Knowledge of pre-trip inspections and CDL driving basics (backing, parking, etc.)
• Ability to teach shifting patterns and drive a commercial vehicle
• Strong communication, professionalism, and ability to engage adult learners

• Administers written tests and evaluates grades

• Adheres to policies, DOT regulations, and school procedures
