Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Delivery Merchandiser Trainee in Memphis to learn route delivery and merchandising across all disciplines. You’ll stock, face products on shelves and displays, and may relieve routes with potential to take a permanent delivery assignment.

The role emphasizes CDL training, merchandising excellence, customer service, safety, and adherence to DOT rules. Weekend/holiday availability is required, with promotion opportunities and professional development.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required; clean driving history under 7 years will be reviewed.
Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) in future; not required for hire.
Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date; perform invoicing and cash paperwork using handheld devices.
Develop merchandising habits to meet Company standards and execute commercial plans in customers’ outlets.
Develop rotation practices and build/maintain product displays and brand order; manage backroom stock.
Develop customer service skills by communicating customer needs to management.
Adhere to safety standards and DOT Hours of Service guidelines; promote safe equipment usage.
