Job summary

RMTD is hiring for an entry level driver position with starting pay of $19.00/hr and will train. A three-month training period applies. Training will cover CDL core knowledge and safety protocols.

Full-time employment includes a comprehensive benefits package: health, vision, dental, life, vacation, holidays, sick days, leave days, IMRF retirement, and a 457b plan with 2% matching. Applicants must have a good driving record and be willing to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service-centered attitude.
• Good driving record with no recent major issues.
• CDL license required; obtain within 1 month if not current.
• Willing to work all shifts.
• Pre-employment drug test required and negative.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers as required.
• Meet DOT physical qualifications and safety standards.
• Provide safe and courteous service to riders and clients.
• Assist with loading/unloading and helping passengers as needed.
