Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. in Tucker, GA seeks a Class A CDL Driver for telecom construction projects. You will operate trucks and related equipment at job sites and assist with material handling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Current Class A CDL license.
• Experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction preferred.
• Able to safely operate various utility trucks and hand tools.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in all weather.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drives and operates equipment to and from the jobsite.
• Unloads/loads materials.
• Performs other duties in underground utility construction.

What you’ll do

• Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck)
• Unloading/loading of materials
• Performs other duties as necessary associated with underground utility construction

What you’ll need

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Currently have Class A CDL license
• Experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (preferred)
• Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
• Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
• Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
