Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Tucker, GA is hiring Class A CDL drivers for field operations. You will operate various heavy equipment, load and unload materials, and support underground utility construction. Position offers weekly pay, PTO, and company benefits.

Must be 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., and hold a CDL. Overtime and weekend support may be required, with safety and customer communication as core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Currently have Class A CDL license.
• Experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, emergencies, or on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, etc.).
• Unload/load materials and assist with underground utility construction.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support field operations.

What you’ll do

• Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck)
• Unloading/loading of materials
• Performs other duties as necessary associated with underground utility construction

What you’ll need

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Currently have Class A CDL license
• Experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (preferred)
• Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
• Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
• Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
