Job summary

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Driver to transport residents, staff, and visitors within our gated retirement community. You will operate buses and sedans, assist passengers in boarding, and perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety.

Expect to maintain vehicle cleanliness, log usage, and comply with DOT and state requirements. CDL‑C with passenger endorsement is required, along with a valid DOT medical certificate and driving history verification.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to drive.
• Current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class C (or higher) with passenger endorsement is required.
• Ability to operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Minimum of three years of verifiable driving experience as noted through a driving record check.
• Current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Operate passenger buses and sedans.
• Assist passengers with boarding and off-boarding from the vehicle.
• Prepare vehicles for usage, including pre- & post-trip inspections, refueling, and related tasks.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
• Log and track vehicle usage.
