Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Roswell, GA is hiring a CDL driver to deliver materials to commercial and residential customers. You’ll operate with pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, load and unload at customer sites, and ensure accurate ticketing.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT compliance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong customer-service skills. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring correct ticketing.
• Pick up customer returns and verify product for credit requests.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with packing, receiving, and stocking materials.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

• $19.26 - $30.76
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
• The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
