Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Rhode Island seeks a CDL driver to deliver materials to customers, maintain safety standards, and support warehouse operations. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule and be home daily with no nights or weekends, providing crucial service for plumbing, HVAC and building products.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring proper ticketing.
• Pick up returns and validate product for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and refuel as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling, stocking and preparing orders for shipment.

• Pay: starting at $23 per hour or higher depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

• $20.22 - $32.30 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
