Job summary

Ferguson Fort Myers, FL is hiring a CDL driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role requires a valid CDL, strong customer service, and the ability to work with pallets, forklifts, and basic tech such as iPads.

Schedule is Mon-Fri with two shift options; starting pay is $20/hour and increases with experience. Candidates should meet CDL requirements, be at least 21, lift up to 50 lbs, and be prepared for DOT screening and a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load/unload and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to operate a Moffett forklift (preferred) but not required.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations including PPE and weight limits.

Position Details

Location: Onsite - Fort Myers, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday; shifts available from 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay: Starting at $20 per hour based on experience.

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
