Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to serve customers in the New Castle, DE area. The role requires a valid CDL and a customer-first approach to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate returns.

You will operate pallet jacks and assist with warehouse tasks as needed. The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, with a start around 6:30am and a pay rate starting at $26 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• Must meet and maintain CDL qualifications and DOT standards.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling, stocking and preparing orders.
• Work overtime as needed.

Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm

Pay

starting at $26 per hour or higher depending on experience

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

• $20.22 - $32.30 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
