Job summary

Fissco Supply is seeking a reliable Driver for our Dallas Distribution Center. The role focuses on safe, timely transport of HVAC-R parts across Texas, including pre-trip inspections and adherence to DOT regulations.

You will operate box trucks and vans, assist with warehouse duties, plan efficient routes with GPS, and ensure accurate loading and unloading while maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Background and drug screening will be conducted.
• Proven experience in truck driving and transporting goods in light commercial vehicles (box trucks, vans).
• Knowledge of transit regulations and safety procedures, plus warehousing and logistics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate box trucks and vans to transport and deliver goods safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow company safety policies and transportation guidelines.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS and digital mapping to optimize delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load, unload, and verify inbound merchandise according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle and organize products for storage and retrieval.
• Assist with warehouse organization and proper material handling in designated zones.
• Ensure workplace safety with OSHA/SDS guidelines and keep the facility clean and secure.
