Job summary

Casella is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate roll-off trucks and provide reliable waste removal along designated routes. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and community contributions through Casella’s Career Pathways program.

Starting pay is competitive with a range of $24.00–$30.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $68,640 annually plus safety bonuses based on hours worked. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with up to 57.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old; valid CDL Class A or B license; authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills; dedication to customer service.
• Ability to operate and manage multiple waste-removal routes safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains truck appearance per safety standards.
• Operates rear load, front load, side load, and roll-off trucks on streets, sites and driveways.
• Provides courteous, timely service and maintains positive customer interactions.
• Completes required paperwork accurately per regulations.
• Notifies Dispatch of service interruptions or safety concerns and stays vigilant of surroundings.
• Participates in training and Career Pathways program to advance within Casella.
