Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Salisbury, MA seeks a CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer rigs under DOT regulations, transport equipment to job sites, and support rigging and crating tasks as needed.

The role requires completing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, performing electronic logging, and working effectively in a team while maintaining compliance and safety on busy sites.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Possess valid Class A CDL with Airbrakes and combo endorsements.
• Minimum two years proven driving experience at ACDL level.
• Minimum three years proven experience or comparable field (construction service preferred).
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (forklifts, lifts).
• Experience with load securement and safe hauling practices.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and hand/power/pneumatic tools.
• Rigging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Drive tractor-trailer rigs to transport equipment to job sites under DOT rules.
• Secure, tarp, and tie-down loads safely; perform rigging and signaling as needed.
• Operate electronic logging and maintain required paperwork daily.
• Work effectively in a team; support rigging, crating, and handling of equipment.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with safety requirements at sites.
