Job summary

Patriot Disposal Services is seeking a Driver - Residential Trash in Mount Union, PA. This full-time CDL role involves safely operating a rear-load garbage truck on residential routes, performing route duties, and maintaining the vehicle with routine inspections.

The position requires a Class A or B CDL and a valid DOT medical certificate, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Typical hours are Monday–Friday with evenings at home.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License: Must have a Class A or B CDL with a current, valid DOT medical certificate.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Basic Truck Knowledge: Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear-load garbage truck on assigned residential routes.
• Read route sheets and service each customer on the route.Work a full-time, year-round schedule, typically Monday–Friday, home each evening.
• Operate hydraulic controls to collect and dump waste.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections of the truck and components.
